2021 Panelists

George Lancaster

The former Highland Springs boys basketball coach led the Springers to two state titles (2003, 2007). He was named the first African-American head basketball coach in Henrico County, and is a VHSL Hall of Famer after logging over 700 wins at HSHS. Lancaster currently the boys JV and varsity basketball coach at Bluestone HS.

Ali Doswell

A 2013 graduate of St. Catherine’s School and the all-time leading scorer for the Saints. Doswell went on to star at Amherst, leading her team to a national championship while being named NCAA Division III player of the year. Currently she is an assistant coach for St. Catherine’s varsity team.

Robert Churchwell

Churchwell starred at Georgetown for legendary coach John Thompson from 1990-94 before playing professionally in the NBA and CBA. He has coached at numerous schools, including two stints as head coach at Benedictine. Churchwell is currently the dean of students at his alma mater, Gonzaga in Washington, D.C.

Reggie Williams

Williams was a star at Prince George High School, graduating in 2004 and furthered his success in college at VMI, where he led the nation in scoring twice (2007, 28.1 and 2008, 27.8). He played in the NBA for seven seasons and also spent time playing professionally in France and Russia.
