804 Coaches for Change produces several events each year, and partners with other local community non-profit organizations on other events to provide opportunities for student-athletes that are not normally available.

Cross Country Meet

Hosted by John Marshall High School and Run Eight 0 Four, the second annual challenge takes place October 11 at Pocahontas Park.

Shood will provide free shoes to the top three finishers in each division!

Zoom Meeting Series 804CFC gathers the community, young and experienced, for positive discussion.

Recurring discussions occur recognizing MLK Day, Black History Month, and Women’s History Month.

Level Up Clinic

Students learned how to be more explosive, while also gaining valuable tools in financial literacy, college recruiting, performance anxiety, working with college coaches and student-athletes.

Sports Careers Town Hall

Panelists discussed their career in sports OFF of the playing field. Students heard about opportunities they could pursue once their playing career ends.

CommUNITY Nights – Began in 2020, Continues

Teaming up with The Leadership & Achievement Academy and Befriend, 804CFC mentors, tutors and helps at-risk youth through sports on Fridays throughout the spring, summer and fall.

Sessions are ongoing and have taken place at the Salvation Army Boys & Girls Club, and the Calhoun Investment Center.
